How Long Does It Take To Get a VAWA Green Card?
Karen had a relationship with her abuser – a US citizen spouse — for nine years. They had two children. Even in front of her toddler and baby, her husband would hit Karen, push her against walls, pull her hair, and even hit her with his car. Karen believed that he would change his ways because he loved her. He promised he would change. Instead, the marriage worsened, and Karen’s husband took her two sons away. Happily, she was able to get her sons back five hours later.
